Eternal Father, Strong to Save
This is a magnificent British hymn and is the official hymn of the United States Navy. My favorite memory is singing this hymn on Sea Sunday in an Anglican cathedral in Wales, UK. While I have never been in peril on the sea, I’ve prayed the prayer “Oh hear us when we cry to thee” when facing perils produced by the storms of life.
