I Know That My Redeemer Lives . . .
has always been one of my favorite Easter hymns. I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite verse as they all speak to our human condition and the Divine providence of our Redeemer who lives to bless us with his love.

One Easter one of our members died at home while we were singing it at church. Later that day we determined it was about the time when we were singing verse seven. “He lives and grants me daily breath; He lives and I shall conquer death…”
