#13 Holy, Holy, Holy . . . evokes the vision of Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4. It is a “pull out the stops, sing at the top of your lungs” hymn that allows us to join saints in adoration as cherubim and seraphim fall down before the “Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!” At Grace Lutheran, River Forest, Illinois (my home church) it was always accompanied by a brass choir and a choir descant and an organ that played circles around Calvary’s tiny tracker until we got our Roy Redman Opus 100.
