#15 Children of the Heavenly Father. . . is another hymn I’ve sung my whole life and have memorized. It was written by Caroline “Lina” V. Sanberg-Berg, the daughter of a Lutheran pastor when she was 17. She suffered chronic illness throughout her life and experienced multiple tragedies. The hymn's original Swedish title is "Tryggare kan ingen vara", which translates to "No one could be safer". It was a favorite of Pastor Eric, and the first verse is on his memorial on the FLC wall.
