We Are Baptized in Christ Jesus
The first time we sang it at Calvary was on the day we baptized my daughter Mary Ruth. We will sing it today when we baptize my granddaughter, Isabel Marie. You can’t go wrong with a John Ylvisaker composition. I think my favorite line is “God has made a new beginning from the ashes of our past; in the losing and the winning we hold fast."
