For All The Saints
I’ve sung this hymn as long as I can remember, and it’s always been one of my favorites. It was the entrance hymn at my dad’s funeral, and I’ll probably have it sung at mine. I love all the verses, but I especially like the image of hearing the “distant triumph song” when times are tough so that our “hearts are brave again and arms are strong.” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
